This course provides an affordable and practical way to obtain the necessary certification required to be certified as a Helideck Landing Officer (HLO) under OPITO and IOGP-690 requirements.

HERTL COURSE PROFILE

The cost of this course is $750, and the student can complete the course at their own pace.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Our HERTL training focuses on developing leadership and decision-making skills for managing helideck emergency responses. Participants learn to plan and coordinate emergency operations, manage resources, conduct risk assessments, and lead training drills. The course also covers post-incident reviews and reporting to ensure continuous improvement in emergency preparedness. This course is developed in strict alignment with OPITO standards and format, as outlined in IOGP Report 690.

This course is ideal for anyone appointed or interested in being appointed as an HLO. HERTL is a mandatory precursor before being directed into this discipline.
